Swim Course Description
A stunning marathon swim starting in Homewood, California and swimming into the sunrise, across the “True Width” of Lake Tahoe. This 12-mile route finishes in the back of Glenbrook Bay in Glenbrook, Nevada by the quaint ‘stone pumphouse’.
The True Width swim across Tahoe is an honest mid-distance swim for marathon swimmers working up to longer distances and part of the Lake Tahoe Open Water Swimming Association’s “Lake Tahoe Triple Crown”. If you are seeking a marathon swim in 2024, the True Width is worthy of consideration.
